CAC Root Beer Float Run

Registration opens January 5, 2026. In-person 5K and 10K registration closes May 1, 2026. Virtual 5K registration closes June 12, 2026. Published entry fees are $40.00 for the 10K, $35.00 for the 5K, $25.00 for the virtual 5K, and free for the kids 50-yard dash.
In-person 5K and 10K registration includes an event shirt, a finisher medal, a complimentary root beer float, and chip timing. Virtual participants do not automatically receive a medal or shirt but may add those items during registration. Registering by May 23 guarantees shirt size for in-person entrants.
The event is family-oriented: children can enter the 50-yard dash and children age 12 and under may register for the 5K at a discounted price; organizers recommend that children 12 and under run with an adult. Strollers are permitted with stroller runners asked to start near the back. The race is not pet-friendly; police department comfort dogs will be in attendance.
