About the race
The CabotFest Classic program on October 10, 2026 takes place in Downtown Cabot with the start and finish area at 207 South First Street. The event offers in-person and virtual options.
Distances
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Virtual 5K
The in-person 5K is run on a USATF certified course and will be professionally chip timed. The timing chip is attached to the race bib, and bibs must be worn on the front of the torso with the number clearly visible. A hydration station is provided at the halfway point. The course follows a lollipop loop that begins and ends at the certified start/finish point on 1st Street and Elm Street and passes through neighborhood streets including Cambridge and Stonehaven Drive. For safety, strollers and dogs are not allowed on the 5K course.
The 1 Mile Cricket Crawl is a family-oriented, flat out and back course with a turnaround at the 1M hydration station. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult before, during and after the event. Cricket Crawl shirts are available in youth sizes only.
The virtual 5K option receives the same official race shirt, finisher medal, and an exclusive swag bag with finisher pack shipping to the participant. Packet pickup is available near the start/finish on race morning or at The Humble Thread Boutique in Cabot on the two days before the event.
Proceeds support the Cabot Chamber of Commerce community initiatives and the e3 Student Mentoring Program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
