Cabin Fever Trail Race
The Cabin Fever Trail Race takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Richfield Heritage Preserve, 4374 Broadview Road, Richfield, OH 44286. The event uses park trails and offers both on-site and virtual participation options. A portion of event proceeds will be returned to the park.
Participants can choose from several distance and format options:
- 5k Run
- 5 Mile Run
- 5k Ruck includes patch
- 5 Mile Ruck includes patch
- Virtual 5k
- Virtual 5 Miler
On the in-person course the route splits near mile 3; that split will be signed and staffed by a volunteer. Results will be posted online after the event. Awards include Top 3 Overall male and female finishers and 10 year age group awards. Rucking has Competitive and Non-Competitive divisions with Top 1 Overall male and female recognition.
Event amenities listed by the organizer include a s'more station by the fire, a beer garden with one drink ticket per participant, a soft-fit long sleeve shirt and an optional premium hoodie upgrade, race bib and timing chip, and post race snacks.
