Event overview
California Brewery Running Series presents a 5k Fun Run at Pure Project North Park in San Diego. The event is part of the 2026 California Brewery Running Series and uses a roughly five kilometer route that starts and finishes at the brewery taproom. Participants may run, walk, or jog; the course is untimed and is an open course so roads remain open and participants should follow traffic laws. The route is clearly marked and returns to the taproom.
Registration includes one craft brew from Pure Project at the finish and a choice of Brewery Running Series swag such as a collector's pint glass or a seasonal item. Attendees have access to post-run music, games, prizes, and partner giveaways. Ten percent of proceeds from the event support local nonprofits, and the Brewery Running Series reports having donated over $700,000 to local organizations to date.
Event logistics noted by the organizer include that under 21 participants receive a nonalcoholic beverage instead of alcohol, dogs and strollers are welcome with appropriate care, there is no bag check, the event proceeds rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe, and refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
