Event Overview
The C-U Triathlon takes place on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in Champaign, Illinois. The event offers two registration categories: one for residents and one for non-residents. The race consists of a 400-yard swim, a 10-mile bike ride, and a 5K run.
Registration and Requirements
Registration closes at 5:00 PM on the Saturday before race weekend and will not be permitted after that time. Participants must be at least 16 years old. The run course is marked with signs, cones, and chalk; volunteers will also be on the course. Participants are responsible for knowing the course maps.
Venue and Logistics
The event is held at 2501 Fields S Dr in Champaign. All participant equipment must be stored in the designated transition area or bike corral between race legs. Glass containers are not allowed in the transition area.
Participant Amenities
All participants will receive a medal for completing the triathlon. Awards are given to the overall first-place male and female racers. Onsite activities for spectators include inflatables, games, music, and food trucks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
