C-U Triathlon
The C-U Triathlon is scheduled for July 19, 2026, in Champaign, Illinois, at 2501 Fields S Dr. The event is organized as a standard swim, bike, run triathlon with separate entry categories for residents and non residents.
Registration opens January 1, 2026, and closes July 19, 2026. Entry fees differ by category, with the resident category listed at $60.00 and the non resident category listed at $90.00.
The race distances are:
- 400 yard swim
- 10 mile bike
- 5K run
The swim takes place in a pool. Course maps are provided and participants are expected to review them before the event. The run course is marked with signs, cones and chalk; volunteers will be present on course. If a participant does not see a sign, cone or chalk or spray arrow, the instruction is to continue straight. A map of the race course is available from the organizer.
