The Byron Rocks 5k & 10k is a community event in Byron, Illinois. It features four event divisions: a 5k run/walk, a 10k run/walk, a 5k ruck, and a 10k ruck.

The event is timed for all participants. The course is the same for the run/walk and ruck divisions. Registration, check-in, the start, and the finish are located at the Byron City Hall Parking Lot on 232 W 2nd Street.
Awards are given for the 5k and 10k runs for overall male and female winners, as well as for age categories. Awards for the ruck divisions follow the same structure but are separate from the run awards.
For the ruck divisions, participants must carry a required weight for the full distance. This weight is verified before the start; a post-check is not required. Registering by April 13th guarantees a Byron Rocks t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
