BWC Spring Into Health 5K

Event Information
The BWC Spring Into Health event offers a 5K and a 1 mile race. There is also a virtual option for each distance. The event is organized by the Brunswick Wellness Coalition to promote health in Brunswick County.
It takes place in Southport, North Carolina, at Dosher Memorial Hospital. The event has a "Go Green, Get Healthy" theme, encouraging participants to wear green attire.
Participation
People can take part as individuals or as teams. A special team category is available for Brunswick County Schools. Participants are encouraged to walk, run, roll, or stroll.
Registration and Fees
Registration is done online. Early bird pricing for the 5K is $30 for adults before February 14, increasing to $35 after that date and $40 from March 1. Student registration (ages 6–18) is $10, and children aged 5 and under are free.
The 1 mile event is an untimed fun run. Registering by February 14 guarantees an event t-shirt.
Additional Details
A participation medal is provided to all participants. A plant-based food truck will be onsite from 8am to 11am, offering coffee and meals, with a discount for teachers.
