BVRMC AWARE 5K

The 19th Annual BVRMC AWARE 5K is presented by Buena Vista Regional Medical Center. The course begins and ends at the hospital at 1525 West 5th Street in Storm Lake, IA, and follows a portion of Storm Lake. Proceeds support people in treatment for cancer at BVRMC. Donations are welcome and may be made through the event website at the time of registration.

The event program includes a main walk/run and a separate youth run. Registration opens July 1 and closes September 19. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30 for the main 5K and $15 for the Kids Fun Run. A short sleeve shirt is included with each paid entry. The Kids Fun Run is for ages 10 and under. No registration is required for children in strollers. For safety, dogs, in-line skates, skateboards, scooters and bikes are not permitted on the course.
