BVRMC AWARE 5K
The 19th annual BVRMC AWARE 5K is a community walk and run held in Storm Lake, Iowa, beginning and ending at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center. The course runs along a portion of Storm Lake.
The event includes multiple distances:
- 5K walk/run
- 1K Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under
Proceeds support patients receiving cancer treatment at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center. Donations are accepted through the event website at the time of registration. Registration fees include a short sleeve shirt; the 5K registration fee is $30.00 and the kids fun run fee is $15.00.
Participants should note course restrictions: no dogs, in-line skates, skateboards, scooters, bicycles or e-bikes are allowed on the course. Children in strollers do not need separate registration.
