Buxton Half Marathon
Buxton Half Marathon is a road race held in Buxton on 24 May 2026. The event is a single lap on public roads that starts at Buxton’s Opera House and finishes in Pavilion Gardens, St. Johns Road, Buxton SK17 6BE, United Kingdom.
The route leaves town and climbs Axe Edge on the first ascent, then follows country lanes that pass Chrome Hill, Dowel Dale and Park House Hill. The course returns to Buxton after a couple more climbs. Total ascent for the route is 1508 ft (460 m).
Entry is listed for the standard half marathon distance. The published entry fee is £32.00 with an additional booking fee of 3 percent; UKA affiliated athletes receive a £2 deduction.
