2026 Buxton Carnival 4
The Buxton Carnival 4 is an accurately measured 4 mile road race through the streets of Buxton, held on Carnival Day with crowds lining the route. The race starts on Station Road (what3words ///forklift.warblers.fillers) and finishes on the Market Place. Race headquarters are at Buxton Conservative Club (what3words ///resides.stirs.shunted). Competitors are advised to allow at least 10 minutes to get from Race HQ to the start.
The event is run under UK Athletics rules and holds licence number 31407. Entry is for those aged 16 and over on 10 July 2026. Entries close on Fri 10 Jul 2026 at 18:00. The standard entry fee is £12.00 plus a booking fee; UK Athletics members receive a £2 discount on validation. All race numbers must be collected from Race HQ on the day; parents collecting numbers for entrants under 18 must sign to accept the event terms and conditions. No refunds are available for this event. The race is dedicated to the memory of a former Buxton AC junior and any monies raised will contribute to a foundation that provides accommodation and outdoor activity opportunities for children and young people with additional needs.
