Buttevant RC 4 Mile Road Race 2026
Buttevant RC stages a four mile looped road race in Buttevant on 25 May 2026. The route is described as a single loop with climbs between miles two and three and finishes near the Buttevant GAA pitch.
The course starts on the R580 at the end of town on the Kanturk road, turns left onto New Street, left onto the R522, then left at Sarah at the Crossroads to return past the start and on to the finish. A permit has been approved for the event, cert. no 25/497.
Race logistics include parking near Race HQ at the Buttevant GAA Complex and an off road warm up area around the pitch. Post race hospitality and the prize giving take place in the GAA Hall.
Prizes are awarded to first, second and third male and female finishers and to category prize winners. Course record bonuses are on offer for the first male and first female finishers. A team prize and a perpetual trophy are awarded to the club whose first four finishers place highest overall.
This event is the final race of the Rebel Diamond League in its third year, organised in collaboration with several local clubs. A commemorative mug is provided for participants who complete all four races in the League. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
