Buttercup Run
The Buttercup Run is an annual fundraiser hosted by Friends of Arlee Schools, Inc in partnership with CSKT Tribal Health and CSKT Wildland Recreation departments. Proceeds support scholarships for Arlee High School seniors and provide mini-grants to local teachers for classroom supplies.
The event is held at the Arlee Community/Fitness Center, 34086 Pow Wow Rd, Arlee, MT 59821, with parking available across from the Arlee Fire Department. Routes start and finish at the community center and use mainly flat terrain on pavement, gravel, and trails.
Available race distances:
- 1 mile fun run/walk
- 5K run/walk
- 10K run
Registration fees are published for different age groups: adults 18 and older, youth ages 6 to 17, and free entry for children 5 and under. A family rate for three or more participants is offered as a single fee at checkout. Participants who register by March 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt; shirts are also available on race day while supplies last.
All ages and strollers are welcome. Dogs are not allowed. Donations to Friends of Arlee Schools can be made at a local bank or at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
