Event overview
The Burrator 10K is a road race set at Burrator Reservoir, Yelverton (Burrator Discovery Centre, PL20 6PE) on 30 May 2026. The course is almost all on tarmac, runs on fully closed roads and starts on the dam bridge. The route makes one full loop of the reservoir and about two thirds of a second loop to total 10 km, with around 90 metres of climbing. A UK Athletics licence has been applied for and the event will be run under England Athletics rules; results will appear on Power of 10. Entry numbers are limited because of parking arrangements.
The event includes support races for children and offers a course measurement certificate, professional electronic chip timing, finishers medals, category prizes and event photography. There is professional first aid on site and multiple portable toilets. The organiser provides full parking details in the race manual and has offered a parking discount for people parking at Yelverton and cycling the short distance to the venue. Many competitors have recorded personal bests on this course.
