Burlington Shamrock Shuffle
The Burlington Shamrock Shuffle is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Burlington, Iowa. The event at Crapo Park (500 South Main Dr.) is a 5K color fun run/walk organized by the Burlington Parks & Recreation Department and the Burlington Police Department. Proceeds will be shared between the two departments; the Parks & Recreation Department will use funds to replace playground equipment and the Police Department will use funds to purchase and install a 40-foot flag pole outside the police station.
Registration, packet pickup and policies
Registration opens January 14, 2026. The event lists a registration fee of $30 and notes that participants must register by February 24 to receive a shirt with registration. Packet pick up is available the day before and the day of the event: Friday, March 13 at the Burlington Police Department (201 Jefferson St.), and Saturday, March 14 at the Parkside Brewing parking lot (2601 Madison Ave.). Registrations are non-refundable; if the race is canceled or terminated due to inclement weather it will not be rescheduled and entry fees will not be refunded.
