The Burgdorf Asparagus Run is an annual running competition that takes place as part of the Oktobermarkt city festival in Burgdorf. The event offers various running distances of 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km, as well as a 660 m children's run and a 5 km Nordic walking route. The courses run along the Aue River and through the castle and city park.
Participation is open to everyone, regardless of club membership. Timing is done electronically, and all participants receive a certificate. The run is organized by VVV Burgdorf with the support of eichels GmbH. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
