Bunny Hop Fun Run
The Bunny Hop is an annual event hosted in Star City, West Virginia. This specific edition marks the 2nd Suncrest Middle School 2 mile fun run/walk. The event is organized by the Suncrest Middle PTO, with all proceeds from registrations and merchandise sales supporting various school activities.
The course is a 2 mile out and back route located on the local rail trail. Participants begin at the Tug Boat Depot playground within the Edith Barill Riverfront Park and Trail area. The terrain utilizes the established path along the riverfront, providing a designated route for both runners and walkers.
Medals are awarded to the top 50 finishers of the event. While the primary activity is the 2 mile run and walk, participants have the option to pre-order event t-shirts during the online registration process. On the day of the event, registered individuals can collect their race numbers and pre-ordered apparel at the lower parking lot. In-person registration is also facilitated at this location prior to the start. The organizers do not offer refunds for registration fees.
