Bunk House Trail Runs
Bunk House Trail Runs is scheduled for Saturday May 29, 2027 at the Scuppernong trailhead in Dousman, Wisconsin. The event uses a 10K+ loop course described as challenging and not designed for personal records; 30K and 50K entrants complete multiple loops and reverse direction on each lap. The start and finish area is located at the Scuppernong trailhead, S58 W35820 Co Road ZZ, Dousman, WI 53118.
A fully staffed aid station with food and fluids is located at the start/finish area, and runners may leave a drop bag there. The race operates a cupless policy: participants are expected to carry their own container. A reusable cup will be provided at check-in courtesy of Hammer Nutrition.
Registration is open online from February 1 to May 24 (noon); race-day registration is available on site. A Wisconsin State Park sticker is required for vehicle parking and is not included in the entry fee; stickers may be purchased beforehand or at trailhead parking via the posted QR code/form.
Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in each race and a finisher medallion is provided to all finishers. Past proceeds funded construction of a year-round shelter at the Scuppernong trailhead; future proceeds will support projects in the Kettle Moraine State Forest.
