Bumrun Halifax 2026
Bumrun Halifax is a charity event focused on raising awareness for colon cancer screening and prevention. Hosted at Sullivan's Pond Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, the event features walk and run distances designed to fund research and patient support programs.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K walk/run
- 500M Little Bums (for children ages 12 and under)
- Virtual 5K option
Registration for the live 5K includes a finisher medal and event merchandise. For the Little Bums race, children receive a finisher medal and their own fundraising page. The event is part of the Run Nova Scotia Road Race Series, and members of RunNS are eligible for a discount on registration fees.
The 5K course has a time limit of two hours. While there are no water stations along the route, water is provided at the main event site. Participants have access to an open air baggage check and post-race refreshments are provided to all runners and volunteers. First aid is available on site and on the course.
