Bumrun Halifax 2026
The Bumrun Halifax 2026 is a charity run organized by the Bumrun organization. This event aims to raise awareness for colorectal cancer screening and prevention. The main event is a 5 km walk/run. There is also a children's event called "Little Bums", a 500 m run for ages 12 and under.
The event takes place on May 24, 2026 at Sullivan's Pond Park on Crichton Avenue in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The organization provides a baggage check service, finisher medals, and post-race refreshments. A medic is on site and on the course.
Variable registration fees apply for the 5 km. Participants registered for the 5 km receive race swag, a finisher medal, and a personalized fundraising page. Children registered for "Little Bums" receive a finisher medal and a fundraising page, but no race kit. A virtual 5 km option is also available across Canada.
