Buhl Color Run
The Buhl Color Run is a community fundraiser event held in Buhl, Idaho. The primary distance offered is a 5K run or walk, which follows a looped course starting and finishing at Eastman Park. For those seeking a shorter distance, a 1 mile race option is also available. The proceeds from the event support local education initiatives through the TRIBE PTO, including student engagement activities and teacher appreciation at Popplewell Elementary School.
The course is designed on pavement and features a moderately difficult profile with rolling hills. As a color-themed event, multiple stations are positioned along the route to distribute powder to participants. The powder used is non-toxic and safe, provided by Peacock Powder. Following the run, dusting-off stations with leaf blowers are available at the park, and additional color is available for purchase for photographs.
Registrants receive a white t-shirt featuring sponsor names and a timed result for their run. Participants are encouraged to bring sunglasses and handkerchiefs for eye and face protection, as well as towels or a change of clothing for the return trip. Same-day registration is available, though pre-registration offers a lower rate and specific group pricing for families of four.
