Spirit of Magic Valley Half Marathon and associated races
The Spirit of Magic Valley event on June 6, 2026 in Twin Falls, Idaho includes several races that run along the Snake River Canyon Rim Trail. Each race begins and ends at Shoshone Falls and passes notable landmarks such as Perrine Bridge and the Evel Knievel Jump Site.

- Kids 1 Mile run (ages 12 and under)
Aid stations are located along the courses and provide water and Gatorade. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 5 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dick's Sporting Goods, 1939 Fillmore St, Twin Falls. Race packets include a cotton polyester event shirt and a swag bag that contains a gel; a finisher medal is available for an additional $10. A small processing fee is added by the registration company.
The Kids 1 Mile run is open to children age 12 and under; parents may run with their child and strollers are permitted. A Canyon Ridge High School cross country runner will lead the kids out a half mile on the course and return to the finish. The event is owned and operated by the Run It Forward Foundation, an organization that supports the growth and development of young athletes.
