Buffalo Stampede 5K - McAlester
The McAlester High School Football Team hosts the Buffalo Stampede 5K on May 30, 2026, in downtown McAlester, Oklahoma. The event is organized to support the football team for the upcoming season.
Registration is handled at Spaceship Earth Coffee near 5th and Choctaw. Registration opens April 18 and closes May 29. Preregistration and race day fees are listed separately: Fun Run preregistration $20 and race day $30; 5K preregistration $30 and race day $40.
T shirts are guaranteed in a participant's chosen size only for entries completed by May 15. A course map is noted for the downtown route.
Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers, and medals for the top three finishers in every five year age group up to 80 and over.
