Buffalo Subaru 4 Mile Chase
The Buffalo Subaru 4 Mile Chase is a four-mile road race held in Buffalo's Elmwood Village on July 17, 2026. The event features pre- and post-race music, complimentary food and refreshments, and T-shirts for the first 750 entries. Donations from the event benefit the ECMC Foundation.
The race is designated as the 2026 USATF Niagara Association Open and Masters 4 Mile Championships. To be eligible for USATF Niagara awards and scoring participants must hold current 2026 USATF Niagara membership. The championship designation also includes participation in the 2026 USATF Niagara Runner Of The Year Series and the USATF Niagara Team Grand Prix Series.
Additional event elements include a couples division, awards in multiple categories, and free kids races for boys and girls (ages 5-6: 30 yards; 7-8: 40 yards; 9-10: 50 yards). Kids race registration takes place on Bidwell Parkway on the day of the event.
Race day packet pick-up and registration occur on Bidwell Parkway at Elmwood Avenue. Pre-registered runners may pick up race numbers and T-shirts next to 946 Elmwood Avenue. Pre-registration fee is $35.00; race day registration is $40.00 U.S. funds and accepts cash, check, credit card, or Canadian currency at the daily bank rate. There are no refunds.
