46th Annual Buckley's to Kennedy's 5K Charity Run
This community 5K run and walk takes place on June 14, 2026, in Breezy Point, New York, on Rockaway Point Boulevard / State Road. Proceeds support Heartshare Developmental Disability Services, an organization that serves children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The course begins near the NYPD Center across from St. Genevieve Church on State Road in Roxbury and finishes at the Breezy Point Baseball Field. A family picnic is held at the ballfield after the event; the picnic program includes live music by Head Over Heels, a barbecue with burgers and hot dogs, beverage service including a beer truck, a bouncy house, other games and activities for children, and a 50/50 raffle.
Registration pricing and options are specified in advance. Early registration through June 11 is priced at $40. Weekend registration increases to $50; the fee for runners under 18 is $30. Race-day registration is listed at $60. In-person registration is available on the days before the race at Buckley’s Restaurant (2926 Avenue S, Brooklyn) and at Kennedy’s (406 Bayside, Breezy Point), as well as near the starting area before the event.
