Bubble Chase 5K Edmonton

Bubble Chase takes place at Capilano Park Rd NW in Edmonton and features a choice of 2.5 km or 5 km routes. The course passes through four bubble bogs filled with colourful bubbles and music. Routes may vary by city and can include hills, roads, pathways, grass and unpaved trails.

The participant kit includes an entry wristband and a Bubble Chase medal. Youth tickets are available for those 18 and under. Participants aged 10 and under must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted on course; when using a stroller or wheelchair the passenger's head should remain above the bubbles.

Race kit pick up is available on race day at the registration table in the park. Parking in and around the park is free. Merchandise such as event t shirts, buffs, sunglasses and kids bubble wands are offered on site for purchase.

Safety guidance notes that faster runners should keep left in the bubble bogs, while walkers and strollers keep right, and participants should avoid stopping in the bubbles. Race bibs should be worn visibly and volunteers are available for assistance.

The event policy states there are no refunds and ticket transfers are completed online. If an event is cancelled for unforeseen reasons, registered participants can have their registration moved to the next year with an activation fee, or transfer to another event in the same calendar year without a transfer fee. Bubble Chase aims to proceed in rain, shine, or snow when conditions are reasonably safe, but severe weather may cause delays, postponement or cancellation.
