Bubble Chase 5K - Airdrie
This event is scheduled for August 9, 2026, in Airdrie, Alberta, at 604 East Lake Blvd NE. The format mixes running with themed bubble stations placed along the course.
Participants start in a sea of bubbles and encounter four bubble bogs with colourful bubbles and music. The course is a 2.5 km loop that can be completed once or repeated to make 5 km in total.
The participant kit includes an entry wristband and a Bubble Chase medal. Ticket categories include youth (18 and under) and adult pricing; example prices listed are CA$28.99 for youth and CA$43.99 and CA$54.99 for adult price breaks depending on registration timing. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted, and the terrain may include hills, roads, paved pathways, grass, and unpaved trails. When using a stroller or wheelchair the head of the passenger should remain above the bubbles.
Safety guidance asks faster runners to keep left in bubble areas and walkers and strollers to keep right, to keep race bibs attached, and not to stop inside the bubble bogs. Race volunteers are available on course for assistance.
There are no refunds for purchased tickets; transfers must be done online. If an event is cancelled participants will be notified and can transfer registration to next year with a CA$10 activation fee or move to another event in the same year with no transfer fee. The event may proceed in rain, shine, or snow unless conditions are deemed unsafe, in which case delay, postponement, rescheduling, or cancellation are possible.
