BTN Big 10K : Chicago
The BTN Big 10K is a timed running event held at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The event includes in-person distances and a virtual participation option. It is open to all ages and abilities and serves as a fundraiser for the BTN Big 10K Foundation. The event is presented by the Big Ten Network.

Registration is structured in phased pricing windows. Phase 1 runs March 3 to March 17 with 5K at $45, 10K at $55, and virtual at $45. Phase 2 runs March 18 to April 7 with 5K at $50, 10K at $60, and virtual at $45. Phase 3 runs April 8 to June 11 with 5K at $55, 10K at $65, and virtual at $45. Phase 4 runs June 12 through race day with 5K at $65, 10K at $75, and virtual at $45.
A course map and race shirt designs for participating schools are provided for the 2026 event. Sponsors noted for the event include iTab and B96.
