BRRC 43rd St. Paddy’s Five Miler
The BRRC 43rd St. Paddy’s 5 Miler takes place on March 8, 2026, with the start and finish at Spokane Community College in Spokane, WA (1810 N. Greene St.). The course is an out-and-back with the turnaround at 2.5 miles in Avista Park.
This event serves as an official qualifying race for second seeding at Bloomsday 2026, with qualifying times listed as Women 37:00 and Men 31:00. A free children’s event, the Lucky Leprechaun Jig, is offered for participants 6 years old and under; that short kids’ run is approximately 50 meters and all participants receive a ribbon. Youth shirts for the kids event are available separately for a fee through the stated shirt deadline.
Awards will be presented for Overall Male and Female, Masters (40+) top Male and Female, and the top three Male and Female finishers in the age groups 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Prize drawings include a $250 cash prize; presence is required to win.
Registration details note a shirt option available through February 20 with a specified fee and size surcharge for larger shirts, a run-only fee option, later registration without a shirt, and a day-of race registration option.
