BRRC 43rd St. Paddy’s Five Miler : March 8, 2026, Spokane Community College
The event is a five mile road race that starts and finishes at Spokane Community College, 1810 N. Greene St., Spokane, WA. The course is an out-and-back with a turn around at 2.5 miles in Avista Park. A separate childrens event, the Lucky Leprechaun Jig, is for kids 6 years old and under and is approximately 50 meters; all participants in the Jig receive a ribbon.
Race format, registration, packet pickup and awards
The race is an official qualifying event for 2nd seeding at Bloomsday 2026 with qualifying times of Women 37:00 and Men 31:00. Registration options and fees listed by the organizer include a unisex shirt option (registration fee through February 20; 2XL and 3XL incur a $3 extra charge), a no-shirt option, and day-of/no-shirt pricing. Mail-in entries must be received by February 20 to receive a shirt or by March 6 for no shirt. Packet pickup is available the day before at MUV Fitness, 14927 E. Sprague, and on race day at Spokane Community College. Rest rooms are provided in the gymnasium building. Water will be available at the finish line and at the turn around. Awards include Overall Male and Female, Masters (40+) top male and female, and top three male and female in age groups 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+. The event also includes prize drawings, including a $250 cash prize for a winner who must be present to claim it. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
