Event Details
The 43rd St. Paddy's Five Miler is a 5-mile running event held on March 8, 2026. It takes place at Spokane Community College in Spokane, WA.
Course
The course is an out-and-back route, starting and finishing at Spokane Community College. The turn-around point is at 2.5 miles in Avista Park. The course follows the same route used in 2025.
Qualifying & Awards
The race serves as an official qualifier for 2nd seeding at Bloomsday 2026. The qualifying times are 37:00 for women and 31:00 for men. An awards ceremony recognizes overall male and female winners, top masters (40+), and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups from 0-10 to 80+.
Additional Activities
A free "Lucky Leprechaun Jig" event for children aged 6 and under is offered. All participants in the Jig receive a ribbon. Following the awards, there is a prize drawing that includes a $250 cash prize. Attendance is required to win the drawings.
Registration & Packet Pickup
Registration offers several options, including a $35 fee with a unisex shirt through February 20, 2026, or a $20 run-only option. Packet pickup is available on March 7, 2026, at MUV Fitness on E. Sprague, and on race day at Spokane Community College. Restrooms are available in the gymnasium building, and water will be provided at the finish line and turn-around point.
