Two Person Ten Mile Relay
The Two Person Ten Mile Relay is scheduled for August 1 at the Loch Raven Senior High School track in Baltimore, MD. The track sits well back in the school's athletic fields. Venue address: 1212 Cowpens Lane, Baltimore MD 21286.
The event is contested by teams of two. Teammates alternate running one mile each, handing off after every mile, and repeat the sequence until each runner has completed five miles for a combined distance of ten miles. The format uses repeated one mile legs on the high school track.
This relay was a regular club event in past years but faded after the quarter mile track at Loch Raven Senior High was renovated. Organizers revived the relay for the current season. Registration is handled on race day only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
