Brothers In Blue Presents Brett’s Run is a family friendly trail running event in Winnipeg on September 28, 2025. The event honors a police constable and his battle against Guillain Barre Syndrome. The course uses Whittier and Lagimodiere-Gaboury Parks in the Old St. Boniface area. Registration for the event is free.
Course and participation
- 5 km trail run
- 5 km trail run (alternate path for participants with disabilities)
The meeting point is the parking lot of Fort Gibraltar (866 Rue St. Joseph). A halfway point and aid/spectators station is located at the unnamed green space off Rue Maisonneuve. An alternate path with minimal elevation gain and less technical trails is available on race day for participants who prefer an easier route. The event is open to police and civilians, adults and children, and allows running, jogging, or walking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
