Description
This is a family friendly 5 km trail running event held in Whittier and Lagimodière-Gaboury Parks in Old St. Boniface, Winnipeg. The run is presented in honour of a police constable who faced Guillain-Barré syndrome.
The starting and muster point is a greenspace east of the Fort Gibraltar parking lot at 866 Rue St. Joseph. A halfway aid and spectator station is located in an unnamed green space off Rue Maisonneuve. An alternate path with minimal elevation gain and less technical trails will be available on race day for those who prefer an easier route.
Participation is open to adults and children, police and civilians. The event is described as suitable for running, jogging, or walking. Registration for the listed options is free.
