BrooklynRoseStrong 5K
The third annual BrooklynRoseStrong 5K is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at the St. Cloud Lakefront in St. Cloud, Florida. The event is organized as a family friendly morning of walking and running along the lakefront near 1104 Lakeshore Blvd.
Distances offered:
- 3.1 Miles 5K walk or run
- 3.1 Miles virtual 5K option
- 50 Yards Kids Dash
Proceeds benefit Brooklyn’s Petals of Hope Foundation, which provides direct financial assistance to families affected by DIPG/DMG, a lethal form of pediatric cancer. The foundation assists with needs such as transportation to treatment, monthly mortgage payments, utility bills, bereavement support, and funeral expenses.
Event features include a family 5K walk/run, a Kids Dash for children ages 1 to 10, awards for top male and female finishers, and awards for Largest Team and Most Spirited Team. There are also recognitions for the Top Individual Fundraiser and the Top Team Fundraiser. The first 300 registered participants will receive an official race-day T-shirt and a finisher medal.
