Brookfield Classic - September 19, 2026
The Brookfield Classic takes place in Brookfield, New York, in the Charles E. Baker State Forest near Brown Road, West Edmeston. The event offers trail races on a mix of truck trails and horse trails. Fresh grilled food will be available on site; donations support the Brookfield Central School Senior Class. Registration closes on Fri, Sep 18.
Races and logistics
- 5K: aimed at those new to trail running or who prefer the 5k distance.
- 15K: a 15k loop over truck and horse trails; described as family friendly and can be walked or run.
- 50K Ultra Marathon: a 50k course covering more than 4,600 feet of vertical gain. The 50k is broken into three loops so participants can refuel each lap or stop safely; a race volunteer must mark each runner as completing a loop. The 50k has a 9 hour cutoff.
