The Mercedes‑Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K takes place at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park in Oakville on June 21, 2026. Presented by Mercedes‑Benz Oakville, the event includes a chip-timed 5K and a Speak Squad Kids 1K for children aged 2 to 12. The 5K follows a flat, certified waterfront route along Lake Ontario and is supported with water stations. Every 5K finisher receives a custom medal; kids also receive a finisher medal.
The day includes a Father’s Day Waterfront Festival in the park with live music at the outdoor amphitheatre, a jumping castle for children, a vendor expo of local businesses, food provided by Fortinos, and a beer garden by Nickel Brook Brewing. A prize program totals CA$4,000 in cash awards for top finishers, plus performance shoes awarded to top open and masters categories.
Registration for 2026 is sold out with 840 runners registered. Race kits varied by registration period and include a custom race shirt for early registrations or a GearTop sun hat for later registrations; children’s entries receive a GearTop kids hat. Registrants also receive free access to the SunUP by GearTop UV safety app. Bib pickup is available at locations before race day and at the race site on event morning.
