About the race
Sunday, June 20, 2027 at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park in Oakville, Ontario, the Bronte Harbour Classic presents three organised running events and a waterfront festival. The event includes chip timed road races on a flat, paved waterfront course and a separate kids run that is not timed.
Distances
- 5K : chip timed; run or walk; stroller friendly.
- 10K : new for 2027; chip timed; run only.
- Kids 1K : Speak Squad Fun Run for ages 2 to 12; not timed; every finisher receives a medal.
The festival runs alongside the races and includes live music, a vendor market with 50+ local businesses, a kids zone with inflatables and face painting, and a beer garden. The event donates to the Oakville Dads Community Fund, with 100% of race donations stated to stay local.
A limited number of virtual entries allow participants anywhere in Canada to complete a 5K or 10K during race week and receive the same finisher medal by mail; virtual registration opens January 1, 2027 and includes Canadian shipping. Early-bird pricing for in-person entries is listed at $73.05 CAD through October 31. Refunds are available up to 30 days before race day and transfers are permitted up to 7 days before; options are restricted close to race day.
