Mercedes‑Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K : event description
The Mercedes‑Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K takes place on June 21, 2026 at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park in Oakville, Ontario. The event is presented by Mercedes‑Benz Oakville and supports local community efforts, including the Oakville Dads Community Fund.
The main event is a chip‑timed, certified 5 km road race on a flat waterfront course beside Lake Ontario. The course is described as fully supported with water stations. Every 5K finisher receives a custom finisher medal and race kits include a race shirt for certain registration periods.
A Speak Squad Kids 1K fun run is held the same morning for children ages 2 to 12. The kids 1K is not chip‑timed; each young finisher receives a medal and a t‑shirt.
A Father's Day Waterfront Festival follows the race with live music at the outdoor amphitheatre, a jumping castle for children, a vendor expo featuring local businesses, food and refreshments from Fortinos, and a beer garden by Nickel Brook Brewing. The event includes a prize presentation with a total of CA$4,000 in prizes, cash awards for top open finishers and ON running shoes for top open and masters categories.
