Bronco 5K Run & Fitness Walk - 21st Annual
The event is a community 5K run and a fitness walk held at Western Brown High School, 476 West Main Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio. The course follows Bronco Blvd., West Main St., Aaron Drive and returns to the start, described as fast and flat. Packet pick-up and race day registration are available.
There are two participation options:
- 5K run
- Fitness walk
Registration includes a paid option with a shirt and an option without a shirt; listed fees include processing and taxes. Refreshments are provided to participants after the event. Proceeds support the current high school cross country teams and a college scholarship fund for former Western Brown Cross Country runners.
The 5K race is divided into multiple age groups for male and female competitors, including 12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64 and 65 and over. Additional weight-class divisions are offered for females 160 pounds and over and males 200 pounds and over. Fitness walkers receive separate awards by age ranges, and awards are given to the top half of each division based on pre-registration. Door prizes are drawn by race number.
