About the race
BRODER by MANTRA is a desert trail race across the sand fields along the rim of Mt. Bromo, at elevations above 2,000 meters. The event was launched in 2023 and presents shifting terrain that includes highland cold and desert floor heat. Race day is 10 October 2026.
The event offers five distance categories with stated elevation gain, cut-off times, and water stations:
- 65 km Circle of Pain : Elevation gain 3427 m, Cut Off Time 16 hours, 5 water stations
- 35 km The Northern Face : Elevation gain 1317 m, Cut Off Time 8 hours, 3 water stations
- 25 km Classic : Elevation gain 640 m, Cut Off Time 6 hours, 2 water stations
- 15 km Explorer : Elevation gain 312 m, Cut Off Time 4 hours, 1 water station
- 8 km Scenic : Elevation gain 281 m, Cut Off Time 2.5 hours, 1 water station
Pre-race logistics include race pack collection on 8 and 9 October 2026 and a technical meeting on 9 October 2026.
