Logistics and requirements

Registration takes place at the small parking area above St. Kevin's National School in Laragh; cars are not permitted at that location. Participants should use the Derrybawn carpark in Laragh, which will be kept open for the race; parking carries a €2 per car charge payable by card, with proceeds to Mountain Rescue. The carpark is about a 1 km walk from registration. Organisers ask that Lynhams carpark not be used. IMRA and the council are not responsible for loss or damage to valuables left in vehicles.

All runners must carry mandatory Level B kit: a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag (or equivalent). The required kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day and advised at registration; failure to have required items may lead to denied entry or disqualification. Prizegiving will be held at Lynhams. Volunteers need two non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end-of-year prize. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
