Run The River 100 is scheduled for 8-9 May 2026 at the Queensland Maritime Museum, 412 Stanley Street, Brisbane QLD 4101. The event is an overnight running event that includes ultramarathon and marathon formats and is staged around riverside loops near the museum. The main course uses a 5 km riverside loop and switches to a 2.5 km loop for the final hour. The midnight marathon route begins with a 2.195 km loop followed by eight 5 km loops.

Logistics and rules

Start and finish are at the Queensland Maritime Museum race precinct. Team rules require each runner to complete at least one full 5 km loop; runners may complete multiple loops and change order but must complete a 5 km loop before handing over. Teams must use the interchange lane for transitions; official timekeepers will track distance and time. Hot food and drinks will be available at the precinct.
