Event overview
The Brisbane Trail Marathon, TRAQ-25 and Walkabout Creek Trail Race take place at Enoggera Reservoir, The Gap, inside South D’Aguilar National Park on Sunday 26 April 2026. All courses start and finish at the reservoir and run on a mix of open fire trails and narrow single tracks through eucalypt woodlands and subtropical rainforest. The event is limited to 300 entries.

Course and cut-offs
The courses include varied trail surfaces and significant climbs. Approximate total elevation gains are 2,046 m (marathon), 1,214 m (TRAQ-25), and 520 m (Walkabout Creek). Cut-off times are 7 hours for the marathon, 5 hours 30 minutes for the TRAQ-25, and 3 hours for Walkabout Creek. GPX, KML and TCX files are available via the AllTrails maps for each course.
Entry, gear and services
Entry fees are A$125 (marathon), A$95 (TRAQ-25) and A$65 (Walkabout Creek); TRAQ members receive a 10% discount with a membership code. Minimum ages are 18 for the marathon and 16 for the other races. Refunds are available up to two weeks before the event less a A$20 admin charge. Mandatory gear includes water capacity (2.0 L, 1.5 L, 0.5 L respectively), mobile phone, first aid items (compression bandage, space blanket, wound dressing), whistle and a soft cup. Checkpoints provide water, electrolytes, fruit and basic first aid. All finishers receive a medal. Parking is limited and must be in designated areas.
