About the race
Brisbane Road Runners Club hosts road running events at Orleigh Park on Riverside Drive in West End, Brisbane. The course is a flat, accurately measured circuit that starts at the SBSC Clubhouse and uses multiple laps for the longer distances. Events are staged year round with runs generally every second Sunday.
The program for this event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
Events operate under police approved permits and have marshals positioned along the course. Electronic timing records lap and finish times, and a digital timing clock is displayed at the start and finish line. Post race provisions include free bananas and a BYO water table.
Events are open to both club members and visitors. Club members do not pay entry fees. Registration opens online on the Monday before each event and closes at 7pm on the Saturday before; there are no late entries and no registration on race morning.
