About the race
Brisbane Road Runners Club holds the BRRC President's Cup Half Marathon Championship on Sunday 2 May 2027 at Orleigh Park, Riverside Drive, West End QLD 4101. The event uses a flat, accurately measured circuit along Riverside Drive that starts from the SBSC Clubhouse at Orleigh Park; longer distances are completed as multiple laps of that circuit.
The club has run road events since 1982 and stages organised runs generally every second Sunday. This event operates with police-approved permits and course marshals. Electronic timing records lap and finish times and a digital timing clock is positioned at the start and finish line. Post-race provisions include free bananas and a BYO water table.
Entry is open to club members and visitors. Club members do not pay entry fees. Registration opens online on the Monday before each event and closes at 7pm on the Saturday night prior; there are no late entries and no registration on race morning.
