Brisbane Road Runners Club - Bring a Friend Season Launch
Brisbane Road Runners Club runs an event at Orleigh Park, Riverside Drive, West End, featuring measured road race distances on a flat circuit that starts at the SBSC Clubhouse. Longer distances are completed as multiple laps of the same accurately measured circuit.

Events are held year round, generally every second Sunday, and the club has been part of Brisbane's running community since 1982. Each event operates under police-approved permits and has marshals stationed along the course. Electronic timing records lap and finish times, and a digital timing clock is provided at the start/finish line.
Post-race provisions include free bananas and a BYO water table. Events are open to both club members and visitors; members do not pay entry fees. Registration opens online on the Monday before each event and closes at 7:00 pm on the Saturday night prior. There are no late entries and no registration on race morning.
