Bridgnorth 10k
The Bridgnorth 10k is a road race organised by Bridgnorth Running Club that starts and finishes at Bridgnorth Town Hall on High Street in the market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The advertised distance is 10 kilometres (6.22 miles).
The course is an undulating road route through town streets with views of the River Severn and sections such as Castle Walk. Runners should expect some notable hills including Cartway and Railway Street, as well as several downhill stretches.
Registration takes place under the Town Hall and race numbers must be worn on the front. The race is held on open roads, so runners are required to keep left and follow marshal instructions; headphones are not allowed. A water station is provided at the halfway point and first responders will be on-site.
There are no changing or bag storage facilities at the venue, but public toilets are available nearby. All finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt, and prizes are offered for the top three male and top three female finishers. The event is organised locally and often sells out early, reflecting strong community support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
