About the race
The Bridgnorth 10k is a road race held in the market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, on Sunday 18 October 2026. The race starts and finishes at Bridgnorth Town Hall on High Street (postcode WV16 5BZ) and follows an undulating road course through town streets and riverside sections.
The course covers 10 kilometres (6.22 miles) and passes historic features such as Castle Walk with views of the River Severn. Runners should expect some challenging hills on streets named Cartway and Railway Street as well as downhill sections. The race takes place on open roads; participants must keep left and follow marshal instructions. Headphones are not allowed.
Registration takes place under the Town Hall and race numbers must be worn on the front. There are no changing or bag-storage facilities; public toilets are available nearby. A water station is provided at the halfway point and first responders will be on-site. All finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt, and prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers.
