Bridgnorth 10k
The Bridgnorth 10k is a road race organised by Bridgnorth Running Club and scheduled for 18 October 2026. The event begins and ends at Bridgnorth Town Hall on High Street in the market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The distance is 10 km.
The route is an undulating road course through town streets, passing historic features such as Castle Walk and offering views of the River Severn. The course includes notable hills at Cartway and Railway Street as well as downhill stretches.
Race-day registration takes place under the Town Hall and race numbers must be worn on the front. There are no changing or bag storage facilities; public toilets are available nearby.
The race is held on open roads, so participants must keep left and follow marshal instructions. Headphones are not allowed. A water station is provided at the halfway point and first responders will be on-site.
All finishers receive a medal and t-shirt. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female runners. The event is organised by Bridgnorth Running Club and takes place within the local community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
