Bridgnorth 10k
The Bridgnorth 10k is a road race that starts and finishes at Bridgnorth Town Hall on High Street in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The course distance is 10 km.
The route is an undulating road course through town streets, with sections that pass Castle Walk and offer views of the River Severn. Runners will encounter notable hills such as Cartway and Railway Street as well as downhill stretches.
Registration opens at 9:00 under the Town Hall and closes at 10:30. Race numbers must be worn on the front. There are no changing or bag storage facilities; public toilets are available nearby.
The race is held on open roads. Runners must keep left and follow marshal instructions. Headphones are not allowed. A water station is provided at the halfway point and first responders will be on-site.
All finishers receive a medal and t-shirt. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. The event is organised by Bridgnorth Running Club and is supported by the local community; it often sells out early. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
