Bridgnorth 10k
The Bridgnorth 10k is a road race held in the market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, with both start and finish at Bridgnorth Town Hall on High Street. The race distance is 10 kilometres (6.22 miles) on an undulating road course that passes scenic streets and historic landmarks such as Castle Walk, with views of the River Severn.
The route includes some steep sections, notably Cartway and Railway Street, as well as downhill stretches. The race is run on open roads; runners are required to keep left and follow marshal instructions. Headphones are not allowed. A water station is provided at the halfway point and first responders are on-site.
Registration takes place under the Town Hall and race numbers must be worn on the front. There are no changing or bag storage facilities on site, but public toilets are available nearby. All finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers.
The event is organised by Bridgnorth Running Club and is typically well supported by the local community; entries often sell out. Entry fee for the 10k is listed at £29.00 plus a fee, and entries close on 14 October 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
