Bridgnorth 10k
The Bridgnorth 10k is a road race organized by the Bridgnorth Running Club in the market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The event follows an undulating course through local streets and past historic landmarks. Participants run past the Castle Walk and see views of the River Severn during the event.
The route includes several elevation changes, specifically featuring hills on Cartway and Railway Street, as well as various downhill sections. As the race takes place on open roads, runners are required to stay on the left side of the path and adhere to instructions provided by marshals. For safety reasons, the use of headphones is not permitted during the race.

The start and finish area is located at the Bridgnorth Town Hall on High Street. Facilities at the site are limited, as there are no changing rooms or bag storage areas provided for participants. Public toilets are available in the vicinity of the start area. Registration takes place on the morning of the event under the Town Hall, where runners collect their race numbers to be worn on the front of their clothing.
Support on the course includes a water station located at the halfway mark and first responders stationed on-site for medical assistance. All participants who complete the distance receive a medal and a t-shirt. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers.
