The Bridgnorth 10k is a road race held in the market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, with a course that begins and ends at Bridgnorth Town Hall on High Street. The distance is 10 kilometres (6.22 miles).
The route is an undulating road course through town streets and past local landmarks, including Castle Walk, with views of the River Severn. Runners should expect some notable uphill sections on Cartway and Railway Street as well as downhill stretches.
Registration opens at 9:00 am under the Town Hall and closes at 10:30 am. Race numbers must be worn on the front. There are no changing or bag storage facilities; public toilets are available nearby.
The race takes place on open roads. Runners must keep left and follow marshal instructions. Headphones are not allowed. A water station is provided at the halfway point and first responders will be on-site.
All finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. The event is organised by Bridgnorth Running Club and entries often sell out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
