Bridgnorth 10k
The Bridgnorth 10k is a road race that begins and ends at Bridgnorth Town Hall on High Street in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The course covers 10 kilometres and runs through scenic streets and past local landmarks, including Castle Walk and views of the River Severn.
The route is undulating with notable hills on Cartway and Railway Street and also includes downhill sections. The race takes place on open roads; runners are required to keep left and follow marshal instructions. Headphones are not allowed.
Registration opens at 09:00 under the Town Hall and closes at 10:30. Race numbers must be worn on the front. There are no changing or bag storage facilities; public toilets are available nearby.
A water station is provided at the halfway point and first responders will be on site. All finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers.
The event is organised by Bridgnorth Running Club and has often sold out early. The listed entry fee is £29.00 plus a £1.35 fee and entry closes on 14 October 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
