Bridges 5K - Race to End Homelessness
The event takes place on October 18, 2026 at The Village Green on Maple Street in Summit, New Jersey. Proceeds support Bridges' efforts to prevent and end homelessness in Essex, Union and Somerset counties.

Registration opens September 2, 2026. 5K registration closes October 2, 2026; Kids Fun Run registration closes October 18, 2026. Early pricing is listed as $40 for the 5K (increases to $45 on October 2) and $10 for the Kids Fun Run. T-shirts are guaranteed only for participants who register by October 5, 2026.
Each 5K participant receives a race bib, an event t-shirt (subject to the registration guarantee date), and post-race refreshments. Kids Fun Run participants receive a medal and a prize; no t-shirt is provided for the kids event. There will be one water station on the course. After the finish, free water, fruit and packaged snacks are available.
Additional on-site features include a live DJ, awards for top fundraisers and top racers in each category, and volunteer opportunities. Parking is available on street and in nearby municipal lots. Strollers are permitted on the course with a request that stroller users line up near the end for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
