Event Overview

The Bridgeport Running Easter Egg 5k is a running event that takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026. It features two separate races: a main 5k run/walk and a Kids Bunny Run of one mile. The event is the third race in the NCWV Race Series.

Races and Schedule

Easter Egg 5k: A 5k run or walk.
Kids Bunny Run: A one-mile run for children.

Packet pick-up and day-of registration open at 7:15 AM. The kids' run starts after the 5k.

Course and Location

Both races start and finish at Bridgeport Running, located on South Virginia Avenue in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The course is an out-and-back route on a trail in front of the store.

Participant Information

The first 100 registered participants (including children in the kids' run) receive a short-sleeve shirt. For the 5k, the top three male and female finishers receive Easter baskets. All participants in the Kids Bunny Run receive an Easter participation award. Portable toilets are available near the finish line. Results are posted after the race.
