Event Overview

The Bridge to Bridge Relay Run (B2B) is a team relay race on a Saturday in late September. The start and finish are at the General Greene Pavilion in Washington Crossing Park, Pennsylvania. Participation is limited to 30 relay teams.

Course Details

The total course distance is approximately 53 miles, composed of two 26.5-mile loops. The route is mostly on the towpath and connects Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, to Stockton, New Jersey, via the Centre Bridge, and then to Yardley, Pennsylvania, via the Scudders Falls Bridge. The course includes 15 specific legs with distances ranging from 0.5 to 3.5 miles. Each new team is required to have a representative drive the course once, with tours available upon request. The course is subject to change or cancellation due to weather, construction, or other factors.

Team and Race Rules

Teams must have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7 runners. Team start times are seeded based on the overall submitted 5K times of each team member. Teams are responsible for their own supplies. Parking or stopping on NJ Route 29 or PA Route 32 shoulders is not permitted.

Awards are given to the first team to finish and to the fastest team. A meal is provided for participants after the race at the General Greene Pavilion.
