Brian Kraft Memorial 5K - Minneapolis
The Brian Kraft Memorial 5K Run is a USATF certified, flat 5 km course held around Lake Nokomis in South Minneapolis. The event benefits the University of Minnesota Foundation Masonic Cancer Center and is centered near the Lake Nokomis Community Center at 2401 East Minnehaha Parkway, north end of Lake Nokomis. Online registration is available at set prices: $40 through 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, with a $5 discount for USATF-Minnesota members who have a code from their club coordinator. Late online registration is $50 from Friday, May 22 through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026. There is no race day registration.
Bib and shirt pick up is hosted by Mill City Running at its Northeast store (411 E. Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis) on the weekend before the race. On the day of the event, pick up is available at the Lake Nokomis Community Center. Due to higher-than-expected participation, many shirt sizes are unavailable; participants are asked to take their registered size and may return to the shirt table after the race to inquire about swaps or shirts from previous years.
