Brewers 10K & 5K : Pirelli Stadium, Burton-on-Trent
This event offers two chip-timed distances that start and finish at the Pirelli Stadium in Burton-on-Trent. The course uses closed roads and passes through Stretton and Rolleston-on-Dove, with open views of the Staffordshire countryside. The route has clear signage and marshals, and there is a water station at the halfway point of the 10 km plus water and post-race refreshments at the finish. The 5 km course does not pass a water station on course.
Included with entries are a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a bag drop. A 90 minute cut-off is applied due to road closures. VIP tickets provide access to the stadium hospitality area, priority bag drop and pre and post-race refreshments.
Practical information includes a secure baggage room with baggage tags attached to race numbers, toilet facilities in the event village within the stadium concourse, and parking details for event and non-event vehicles. Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome but should remain mindful of other competitors; dogs are not permitted for runners or spectators.
