Brentwood Firecracker 5K
The Brentwood Firecracker 5K is an annual Fourth of July road race held in Brentwood, Pennsylvania, established in 1983. The event uses a 3.1 mile course along Brownsville Road that begins in front of Brentwood Towne Square. Each year about a couple thousand runners, joggers, and walkers of various ages take part.
The event entry listed for 2026 is a single 5K race. Registration is open from April 1 to July 2, 2026, with a registration fee of $25.00; early registrants are guaranteed a race day t-shirt size. Awards are given to top overall finishers, masters (40+), and across all age groups.
Participants are also entered into raffles, with a top raffle prize of $500 cash. The race supports local organizations including the Brentwood Fire Department, Baldwin EMS, Brentwood Library, the Brentwood Fourth of July Parade Committee, and the Brentwood Food Pantry. The Brentwood Fourth of July Parade follows the race on the same day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
