About the race
The Brentwood Community 5K and Fun Run is the third annual road event presented by the Brentwood School District in partnership with the Brentwood Days festival. It takes place on September 19, 2026, at Brentwood Park, 2924 Brazeau Avenue, Brentwood, St. Louis, MO.
The event offers these distances:
- 5K - chip-timed, runs through multiple parks and trails
- 1-mile fun run - untimed, intended for families and casual participants
The 5K course highlights more than four of Brentwood’s parks and trails. Chip timing is provided by Start2Finish Race Management. Awards are given to the top male and female overall finishers and to the top male and female in each age group: 14 & under, 15 to 19, 20 to 39, 40 to 59, and 60 & over.
Race packets include a bib, a sponsored tote, and community swag. The first 250 registrants receive a 5K cooling towel. Packet pickup is available at the Brentwood Community Center, Room A (2505 S Brentwood Blvd) on Friday, Sept. 18, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Packet pickup is also available on race day at the Brentwood Park Events Pavilion from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m., with same-day registration permitted until 7:45 a.m.
Proceeds support Brentwood School District student experiences, including Project Graduation, field trips, and the 6-12 Boosters Club. The event lists several community sponsors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
