Bremerton Marathon
Kitsap Running presents the 5th Bremerton Marathon on April 18, 2026. The event includes multiple race distances and runs a loop around Dyes Inlet in Kitsap County, Washington.
The course passes through Manette, Illahee, Silverdale, Chico, and Brownsville, and crosses the Manette and Warren Avenue bridges. Runners encounter waterfront views and stretches of forested and residential roads, with occasional views of Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains on clear days. The route is mostly on open roads with some street crossings and features rolling to intense hills. Aid stations are placed roughly every 2 to 4 miles, and port-a-potties are provided where possible. Per insurance requirements, strollers and pets are not permitted on course.
Time limits are set by distance: the marathon has a 7 hour limit, the half marathon a 5 hour limit, and the 10K a 2 hour 15 minute limit.
Age and minor policies vary by distance. The 10K may be run by participants 10 years or older solo, or by younger runners with an adult. The half marathon is open to runners 12 years and older, with supervision recommendations for younger youth. The marathon is open to runners 16 years and older, and organizers recommend appropriate training and support for less experienced participants.
Packet pickup and check-in are available the day before at Pacific Physical Therapy and on race morning at Evergreen Rotary Park and Newberry Hill Heritage Park. Parking and finish facilities are centered at Evergreen Rotary Park and Olympic College.
