Break Bread Bun Run 5K
The Break Bread Bun Run 5K takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the YMCA of Valdosta, located at 2424 Gornto Road in Valdosta, Georgia. The event is a fundraiser for the Break Bread Together Ministry, which provides one meal a day, five days a week, to low-income and homebound senior citizens in the Valdosta area. The program has been running for over 40 years.
The course begins and ends in the lower-level parking lot of the YMCA and winds through the adjacent Old Wood Valley subdivision. Walkers are welcome, and the organizers expect all participants to complete the 5K distance within 60 minutes.
Registration costs $25. Awards are given to the top two male and female finishers in multiple age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
